“The song is a product of Covid times. Drummer Ritchie DeCarlo is always posting drum tracks online. One Sunday morning I was in my studio looking at facebook. I saw this post of Ritchie playing drums in his studio.

He was playing a cool latin caribbean groove -- but heavy, and I just flipped. I first met Ritchie when he was 17 and I have been a fan since. He played in my band for a while. I ripped the video off facebook. I could already hear the entire song in my head, so I began putting it together. I sent it to Ritchie. His exact response was Damb !!!! I have decided to release it to radio. I hope that it will make people happy or smile for 2:48.” Rodney
